Porkadilla & Turnip

If you've been following me on Instagram or Twitter, this will be old snooze news for sure but for all you other folk, I thought I'd take a moment to bombard you with cat photos introduce you to my new ginger cat children, Porkadilla and Turnip.

Look at these boys! They pretty much decided that they were going to move into my house last winter and that was that (they always seem to know where the crazy cat ladies live...)

They're pretty much the sweetest kitties around. I won't go into the dramatic details of how they came to live with me but, in a nutshell, all out war was declared with my next door neighbour and we rescued them from her "care". I tried to find them a home, as we really wanted a break from having 3 cats for a while, but everyone was too full up with kitties of their own to take them.

In the end, I'm so glad no one ended up being able to take them in because we love these little fuckers! Pooair and Badooda think they're pretty swell too...

Maxi-Cosi.

This big fluffball is Porkadilla and...

...this little terror is Turnip (originally we started calling him TurnUp because he kept just turning up crying for food all the time but we couldn't spell it like that or people would think we were complete idiots who couldn't spell turnip so, yea...)

Nothing says I love you more than a swift punch in the face.

  1. I smiled the entire way through your post! As a fellow human with the neighbors from hell (who won't take proper care of their pets either) and with cats who just turn up begging (demanding?) food in our back garden I could totally empathize with you!

We are up to four now. After we swore three was plenty...then a lost month old kitten (Skillet) just found us...now we can't let him go either.

    Cheers & love your blog!

  5. They spoon together!
    *boom* goes my heart.
I've always wanted kitties who spoon together. But somehow I got stuck with mortal enemies; never shall they know the wonders of kitty spooning.
Now, swatting, that goes on around here all the time... but somehow, not quite as playful looking as your two.
    Ah. Cats. Never enough.
Also. I love how these photos show their personalities! meowmeowmeow
